LNUR 1345 - Introduction to Adult Medical-Surgical Nursing A

Credit Hours: 1.50


Prerequisites: LNUR 1245 , LNUR 1255  and LNUR 1265  all with grade C or better, or grade Pass (if course is a Pass/Fail course). 

Corequisites: LNUR 1365  

This theory course emphasizes application of the nursing process and problem-solving skills while using evidence-based principles of nursing in caring for adult clients experiencing medical surgical alterations within the practical nurse scope of practice. A diverse clientele with surgical and medical needs will be discussed to enhance evidence-based application and vital thinking skills.
