Program Description:

Motion Design allows students to study and pursue training in a field which uses graphic design programs and principles and puts them in motion in order to tell a story or relay a message. By combining artwork and animation students will learn to create work for areas such as commercials, instructional and entertainment videos, app prototype, and more.

Program Outcomes:

Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:

1. Apply drawing and design elements.

2. Create assets using a variety of tools and techniques.

3. Understand and apply animation principles.

4. Communicate ideas and tell stories.

Career Opportunities:

Transfer Pathways:

Students intending to transfer and complete a bachelor’s degree need to make early decisions concerning an academic major and a transfer destination. Statistics show that students who make these decisions early are more likely to persist to graduation than their undecided counterparts. Students planning to transfer credits earned at Macomb are strongly urged to see a counselor or academic advisor as early as possible in their college careers.
