Program Description:
The program focuses on cybersecurity issues, techniques and policies as they relate to users, computers, networks and other systems. Completing this program will prepare students for the following certifications: Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).
Program Outcomes:
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Apply fundamental network security knowledge.
2. Use cybersecurity tools and applications.
3. Configure systems to improve security.
4. Create a network security analysis.
5. Explain laws and best practices related to cybersecurity.
6. Evaluate different cryptographic methods.
Accreditation:
CNSS Certified to conform to NSTISSI 4011.
