Students will develop skills in purchasing, logistics, warehouse management, distribution, transportation, and negotiations while gaining knowledge of how decisions are made throughout the global supply chain. This program is compatible with many Bachelor degree programs offered through local colleges and universities; see an academic advisor or counselor for full details.
Program Outcomes:
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Analyze the benefits that can be gained from implementing global supply chain practices.
2. Explain the scope of global supply chain networks and to understand the complexities of distributing products and services to international markets.
3. Identify the relationship between logistics and the channel intermediaries throughout the global supply chain.
Career Opportunities:
Transfer Pathways:
Students intending to transfer and complete a bachelor’s degree need to make early decisions concerning an academic major and a transfer destination. Statistics show that students who make these decisions early are more likely to persist to graduation than their undecided counterparts. Students planning to transfer credits earned at Macomb are strongly urged to see a counselor or academic advisor as early as possible in their college careers.
