DLAS-8001 Dental and Oral Anatomy Prerequisites None Corequisites WKSP 8026 DLAS 8000 DLAS 8002 Explore human anatomy, the extra-orofacial area, and the oral cavity. Students will examine tooth morphology, terminology, function, and identification systems commonly used in the dental community. Content includes eruption and arrangement of teeth in various dentitions. The laboratory sessions are dedicated to looking at types of teeth, their identification and arrangement, and their functions. Textbook required.

Evaluation Students will confidentially evaluate this course by completing the Student Evaluation of Class form distributed at the last class session.
Successful Completion The instructor will evaluate the student’s skills learned using attendance, participation, feedback, testing where appropriate, and projects completed.
85 % attendance is required; 100% attendance is recommended, as no special arrangements will be made for missing class.
