ITCS 2530 - C++ Programming 1

Prerequisites: ITCS 1140 or ITCS 1950

ITCS‑2530 provides students with a practical introduction to the C++ object‑ oriented programming language. Students learn new concepts not available in traditional programming languages such as encapsulation, data hiding, and polymorphism. Students code programs using basic constructions of decision, loops, structures, and simple functions inherent to both the C and C++ languages. Additional topics involve objects, classes, data types and arrays. Students implement all programs and/or examples on microcomputers.
