CORE 1060 - Industrial Computer Technology Credit Hours: 4.00 Prerequisites: None
This course is designed to provide students enrolled in technical programs an understanding of how the computer can be used as a tool to address a variety of situations utilizing multiple input sources common to industry. Word processing, spreadsheets with graphing capabilities, and illustration and drawing applications will be used by each student to develop a technical presentation.

Search for Sections OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES Outcome 1: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to identify and apply the use of computers and software to technical problems.Objectives: - Communicate effectively using computer terminology.
- Work in the Desktop environment.
- Craft documents using the capabilities found in the word-processing software with integration from and linked to other software applications.
- Demonstrate a level of proficiency in spreadsheet applications including charts and graphs.
- Demonstrate a level of proficiency using graphic software.
- Present a professional multimedia presentation.
