Group II Course: 2.00 ‑ 4.00 credit hours
- Any ASTR, BIOL, CHEM, ENVS, GEOL, MATH, NATS, PHSA, PHYS
And 2 courses from the following:
Group IV Course: 3.00 - 4.00 credit hours
- Any ARAB, ARTT, CHIN, ENGL-2### (CREATIVE WRITING OR LITERATURE ONLY), FREN, GRMN, HUMN, ITAL, INTL 2000 , INTL 2300 , MUSC, PHIL, & SPAN
Group V Course: 2.00 credit hours
- Any PHED Wellness course-2000 or above

- Students planning to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice should seek the advice of a Law Enforcement program advisor, counselor, or academic advisor when selecting elective courses.
- (Alternative Selection) The student may arrange to take courses specifically directed to the educational occupational goal for employment (of the student) with the consent of the faculty advisor and the department. The courses must be applicable to specific fields in Law Enforcement (corrections, courts, investigations, law, etc.) that would provide the student an improved background for the desired specific employment opportunities at the federal, state or local levels. Credit may be awarded for completion of an MCOLES‑approved police academy.
- A minimum of 18 credit hours of Arts & Sciences courses (Groups I-V) are needed as well as a minimum of 62 total credit hours for the associate degree. Arts & Sciences Groups I-V can be taken in any semester.
- It is strongly encouraged that you work with a counselor or advisor to plan your schedule.
