Program Description:
The Global Supply Chain Management program is designed to allow students to gain knowledge in the coordination and acquisition of raw materials processes, manufacturing, warehousing, and the distribution of finished goods and services to customers. Students will develop skills in purchasing, logistics, warehouse management, distribution, transportation, and negotiations while gaining knowledge of how decisions are made throughout the global supply chain. This program is compatible with many Bachelor degree programs offered through local colleges and universities; see an academic advisor or counselor for full details.
Program Outcomes:
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Analyze the benefits that can be gained from implementing global supply chain practices.
2. Explain the scope of global supply chain networks and to understand the complexities of distributing products and services to international markets.
3. Identify the relationship between logistics and the channel intermediaries throughout the global supply chain.

The goal of the Associate Degree in Global Supply Chain Management is to prepare students for a career in supply chain management and to continue their business education at a four-year institution, such as Wayne State University, Eastern Michigan University, Western Michigan University, and Central Michigan University.
