SMFG-8105 Programmable Logic Controllers & Industrial Communications

Prerequisites SMFG-8102; SMFG-8103
This course provides foundational skills in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial communication systems. Students learn PLC hardware, controller software navigation, basic logic development, simple instructions, introductory troubleshooting, and how PLC systems exchange signals with HMIs, drives, sensors, and robotic equipment in automated manufacturing cells. Training includes Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and Studio 5000 software.
