KIDS-8243 ROBLOX Makers-Coders-Entrepreneurs! Ages 8-10 Prerequisites None Discover how to code in the Lua language while playing and designing worlds in ROBLOX, an online universe where you can create anything you can dream of. This new class combines game design concepts, coding, and fun! Young entrepreneurs will also learn how to navigate ROBLOX’s fast growing marketplace to publish their games. Student-created games will be available on a password protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams fro most of the program.

Evaluation Students will confidentially evaluate this course by completing the Student Evaluation of Teaching form at the last class session.
Successful Completion The instructor will evaluate skills learned using attendance, participation, feedback, testing where appropriate, and projects completed. 75% attendance is required; 100% attendance is recommended, as no special arrangements will be made for missing class. 75% attendance = 11.25 hours. Upon successful completion, this course will appear on the student’s Macomb Community College non-credit transcript.
