ARCH 2060 - Architecture Portfolio Credit Hours: 2.00 Prerequisites: ARCH 2030
Corequisites: ARCH 1020 and ARCH 2050
In this course students will learn how to create an impactful architectural portfolio. A step-by-step guide helps students design and present a portfolio that showcases their skills, creativity, and range of experiences. With the use of software and visually appealing layouts, this course will document a collection of sketches, ideas, projects, and written descriptions related to personal experience. As a capstone course in the architectural program, students will finalize their design portfolio using the best projects from all courses and outside personal experiences. This course will concentrate on both portfolio for job placement and transferability to university as well as set the standards for including additional projects within future career experiences. This course will benefit anyone seeking to enhance an architectural design portfolio.

- Organize portfolio collections into categories to be presented.
Outcome 2: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to identify various technologies used to enhance presentation designs through the portfolio-creation process.

- Experiment with software programs used for portfolio presentations.
- Present various page layouts specific to design experiences.
Outcome 3: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to determine preparation techniques for marketing their presentations.
Objectives:
- Identify how to market a portfolio to schools, employers, and clients for career advancement.
- Investigate a variety of digital techniques to enhance a portfolio presentation.
Outcome 4: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to finalize their professional architectural design portfolio.
Objectives:
- Present in person or remotely a final collection of drawings created in the course as a final portfolio.
- Create a video presentation of the final portfolio.
