In this class, students will validate their knowledge of the National Electrical Code as they prepare to take the State of Michigan Journeyman Electrician exam.

OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES
Outcome 1: The student will be able to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).

Objectives:

Interpret the meaning of Article 90 of the NEC.

Identify the definitions used in Article 100 of the NEC.

Articulate the different jurisdictions that may be on a jobsite.

Outcome 2: The student will be able to demonstrate how to reference the National Electric Code (NEC) for a given application.

Objectives:

Identify correct chapters and articles in the NEC for an application.

Interpret the articles for a given application.
