- Produce a figure or portrait study in clay (sculpture).
 
- Explain the kiln firing process.
 
- Make a one- and/or two-piece plaster mold.
 
 Outcome 2: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to create an advanced welded steel sculpture. Objectives: The student will: - Identify welding equipment.
 
- Produce a welded work (sculpture).
 
 Outcome 3: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to create an advanced constructed wood sculpture. Objectives: The student will: - Identify different types of wood.
 
- Identify tools used in wood sculpture.

 Outcome 4: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to create an advanced cast sculpture. Objectives: The student will: - Make a wax positive.
 
- Explain the lost wax process.
 
- Explain the mold making process for casting in bronze.
