DLAS-8002 Infection Control & Safety in the Dental Workplace

Corequisites WKSP 8026  DLAS 8000  DLAS 8001 
Understand the prevention of disease transmission, cross-contamination and safety in the dental environment. Learn the chain of infection, instrument processing, cleaning and disinfecting, occupational safety and administrative protocols. Textbook required.

100 % attendance is required; 100% attendance is recommended, as no special arrangements will be made for missing class. 

% = 32 contact hours.

Upon successful completion, this course will appear on the student’s Macomb Community College non-credit transcript.
