AUTO 2891 - Service Floor 3 Credit Hours: 3.00 Prerequisites: AUTO 1330 , AUTO 2091 , AUTO 2340 , and AUTO 2405

This course provides the students with hands-on automotive service experience. Emphasis will be on automotive engine performance and driveline.

OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES Outcome 1: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to service driveability related concerns.
Objectives:
- Interpret complaint and determine needed repairs.
- Diagnose and repair emissions control systems.
- Diagnose and repair of fuel, air induction, and exhaust systems.
- Diagnose and repair ignition system.
Outcome 2: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to service transmissions.
Objectives:
- Diagnose and repair a transmission utilizing electronic service information
- Diagnose and repair a manual transmission utilizing electronic service information
Outcome 3: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to diagnose mechanical drive-line conditions.
Objectives:
- Perform U-Joint replacement
- Perform half shaft replacement
