OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES
Outcome 1: Upon completion of the course, the student will know the primary elements and phases of the risk management and emergency management processes.

Objectives: The student will:

List and describe the five elements of risk management.
Apply the risk management process in the preparation of a security survey.
List and describe the phases of the emergency management process.

Outcome 2: Upon completion of this course the student will be able to conduct security research from online and print sources.

Objectives: The student will:

Complete a practical exercise by identifying the keyword and website search strategy.
Conduct research on a loss prevention issue or topic and produce a deliverable product.
