ATAM 1360 - Mathematics-Electrical Circuitry-Algebra & Trigonometry Credit Hours: 2.00 Prerequisites: ATAM 1350 or consent of apprenticeship coordinator
Sign numbers, grouping symbols, factoring equations in one unknown, fractions, fractional equations, exponents and radicals, solution of simultaneous equations, and introduction to j factor.

OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES Outcome 1: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to complete math calculations for electrical circuitry.
Objectives:
- Utilize a calculator to solve math problems.
- List the steps involved in solving an equation.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, both longhand and with a calculator.
- Use powers of ten and scientific notation on the calculator.
- Transform and solve equations.
- Convert units and solve associated problems.
