WET 128 - Gas Welding 2

The student shall demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: fusion selding, out of position brazing, oxy-fuel cutting - manual and automatic, filler metals and related welding procedures. The student shall pass a fusion welded V-groove butt joint in the horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. The student shall pass a braze weld test specimen. Weld testing is to be done in accordance with A.W.S. procedures. WET 117 may be taken for additional practice time to improve skills and procedures of gas welding and cutting.
