SURG 2150 - Surgical First Assistant Clinical 1

In the clinical setting, SURG-2150 students are exposed to a specific number of minor surgical procedures in general, orthopedic, peripheral vascular, and two elective surgical areas. Surgical assistant students are under the supervision of a qualified preceptor surgeon or his or her designee. This course is graded on a pass/fail basis. (12 contact hrs per week for the first 8 wks) Center Campus.
