SPAN 2926 - Study Abroad: Intermediate Spanish 1

Equivalent to SPAN-2360. This course focuses on everyday conversational patterns to give students a useful working knowledge of the language, as well as an introduction to the culture of Spanish speaking countries beyond Elementary Spanish 2. This is attained mainly through a systematic study of practical grammar, and an intense practice of the language in a Spanish speaking country. The first part of the course will be on campus for assessment and introduction; the main core will be held in a school in a Spanish speaking country. The last part will be on campus for individual final projects and assessment. (5 contact hrs)
