REC 246 - Recreation Field Work 1

First of a two-course sequence to give the student on-the-job training while studying techniques and methods of recreation programming and leadership. Emphasis will be on athletic leagues and tournaments, special events, and instructional programs. Experience will include six hours per week with a recreation agency and two hours per week of classroom work. Fall semester only. (8 contact hrs) Center Campus.
