REC 166 - Recreation Field Work


(Formerly REC 246) On-the-job training and observation with two types of Recreation/Leisure Service. Student will attend seminar (one hour per week). Agency assignment will be selected from two of the following categories: 1) municipal parks and recreation; 2) outdoor recreation; 3) therapeutic recreation, or 4) commercial, private, voluntary non-profit agencies, (Boy Scouts, YMCA’s, etc.) (20 contact hrs) Center Campus.
