REC 154 - Recreation Centers and Playgrounds


(Formerly REC 219) The student will study the function and role of recreation centers, parks and playgrounds as they relate to the overall community recreation programs. Knowldge of facility design and the various aspects of operation including maintenance, equipment, activities, supervision and leadership will give the student the tools for planning programs at centers, parks, and playgrounds. Spring semester only. (3 contact hrs) Center Campus.
