RDG 112 - Speed Reading

A self-pacing program designed to increase the reading rate (speed) of the adult reader and to instruct the student in techniques for effective reading and comprehension, and in techniques of scanning and skimming. (1 contact hr) The Learning Centers (C-116 Center Campus, J-217 South Campus) assist students experiencing academic difficulty in reading or wishing to improve reading or study skills through the use of tutors, self-paced computer programs, written materials, and videos.
