QUAL 2918 - Quality Auditing for ISO 16949 & ISO 14000

(formerly QST 292H) This class will include the relationship of ISO 16949/14000 to the QS9000 process, background, related requirements and organizations; explanation of the 20 elements in the standards and how the automotive requirements relate to the ISO standard. Auditing to the standard is reinforced with practice. The topics include scheduling an audit, planning the audit, opening the audit, conducting the audit, audit closing meeting, audit report, and after audit activities. A project and class exercises will reinforce course material. (2 contact hrs )
