QST 292A - Header Technologies

This course will provide instruction on conversions between Metric and English, as well as, basic instrumentation, techniques and controls of header equipment. In addition, fundamentals in header processing including safety and set up will be covered. The course will also cover hands-on implementation of material reviewed on video tapes including: Basic Operation and Blanking Terminology; Wire Drawing and Lubrication; Header Die, Cutoff and Transfer; and Basic Header Controls, Operation and Troubleshooting.
