PRT 292J - Conventional & Digital Halftones Theory and creation of halftone images using both conventional process cameras and flatbed scanners. Film processor (setup and maintenance); Adobe Photoshop (B&W and Duotone); Scanning (grayscale); Densitometry (transmission and reflection); Calibration (techniques and procedures); and Proofing (B&W and Color) are topics that will be covered in the course. Students should have some familiarity working on a Macintosh computer (4 contact hrs) South Campus.
