PRT 256 - Desktop Publishing 1 No computer experience is necessary. Some keyboarding skills recommended. The electronic creation of text and graphics using the computer and laser printer. This process is often referred to as electronic keylining. The student will use Microsoft Word to create word processing files and Aldus Pagemaker to create finished pages. Graphics programs will be used to create needed art. Page design and printing trade customs will be discussed. (6 contact hrs) South Campus.
