OTAS 2911 - Basic Physical Agent Modalities This course provides the basic theory required for the basic application of Physical Agent Modalities (PAMs) as the adjunctive treatment method for use in preparation for patient involvement in purposeful activity or occupation. The coursework will emphasize a basic anatomy, stages of wound healing, pain theory, and the practical use of PAMs in the clinical setting. NOTE: Student does not need to be admitted to OTAS program to take this course. (3 contact hrs per week for 8 weeks) Center Campus.
