ADN 211 - Maternity Nursing B Emphasizes the need of mothers involved in a high risk childbearing cycle and also the needs of the high risk neonate. Resultant patient problems are explored. The stress of the high risk mother and neonatal is studied as it relates to the adaptive mechanisms of the maternal, fetal and neonate organism. The nursing process is utilized to determine the efficacy nursing actions. Community resources are explored as support systems for the high risk family unit. (4 contact hrs per wk for 4 wks) Center Campus.
