ADN 101 - Fundamentals of Nursing-B Continues the study of the nursing process with a focus on the planning phase. Basic needs of rest/sleep, exercise/mobility and physical integrity are explored with emphasis on the relationship of knowledge base to selection of standards and methods of data collection. Natural stressors initiating need gratification behaviors are identified; the stress state is described and adaptive mechanisms studied. Pharmacology is introduced and the nurses’ role on the health team defined. (4 contact hrs per wk for 4 wks) Center Campus.
