NCT 292C - CNC Machine Programming

The student will prepare part programs using both computer assisted programming and conversational programming on the machine control unit. Part programs will require the use of multiple set-ups, subroutines, and canned cycles. Emphasis is on complex programming, part program tryout, and part program editing on a variety of machines. Class size limited to 12 students, 3 groups of 4 each. Each group will spend 4 weeks on each of 3 machines during the semester. (4 contact hrs)
