MSTC 1070 - Industrial Alloys


(Formerly MST 107) Application, specification, property determination, and selection of cast, wrought, and powder metal commercial alloys. Concepts of age hardening, corrosion, and wear resistance. Skill development in tensile test procedures for mechanical properties and in standard metallurgical tests on structural powder metal parts. (4 contact hrs) South Campus.
