LIT 171 - Women Authors


(South Campus Equivalent: ENG 171) A study of the woman artist’s contribution to literature, through which the student is encouraged to increase her/his understanding of the women’s part in creating, responding to, and existing in contemporary society. Authors include deBeauvoir, Plath, Lessing, Oates, Levertov. Emphasis on discussion, critical analysis of texts.
