LIT 170 - Contemporary American Literature


(South Campus Equivalent: ENG 170) Several works of major American authors whose writings have become prominent in the years following World War II, including Salinger, Roth, Mailer, Bellow, Barth, Vonnegut, Knowles, Pynchon, Updike, Jones, etc. Emphasis upon discussion, critical analysis of selected texts.
