JOU 191L - News Writing

(South Campus Equivalent: JOU 190). Two class hours a week devoted to the principles of news gathering, problems of accuracy, interest, and the fairness in reporting, and structuring the basic news story. Two class hours a week will be spent in producing the campus student newspaper; emphasis on basic copyreading, page makeup, and headline writing. Offered every third semester, exclusive of summers.
