JOU 113 - Public Affairs Reporting

(formerly JOU 193) Two classroom hours per week devoted to the principles of covering public meetings. Class members will be asked to attend and develop news stories on various local meetings. Two additional class hours a week spent in producing the campus student newspaper; emphasis on copyreading, rewrite, and editorial makeup. Offered every third semester, exclusive of summers. (4 contact hrs) Center Campus.
