ITOS 1700 - Linux+

(formerly ITCS-2300 & ITCS-2310 together) ITOS-1700 focuses on the basic skills needed to perform administrative tasks on a Linux operating system, including Linux installation, directory and file management, working with the Linux shell and command line interface, understanding processes, jobs and runlevels. Network services operation and basic Linux security will be addressed. This course prepares students for the CompTIA Linux+ Certification Exam. (4 contact hrs)
