ITNT 2911 - Introduction to Voice over IP

This course explains how telephony infrastructure is built and works today, major concepts concerning voice and data networking, transmission of voice over data, and IP signaling protocols used to interwork with current telephony systems. This course provides the foundation for gaining hands-on skills and detailed understanding of IP based voice packet telephony. (3 contact hrs)
