Manufacturing Processes Level 3 provides an introduction to machine tool technology. The course is designed for the student that either plans to enter the machine tool technology field or seeks to develop the skills and technical knowledge needed to advance in this or related occupations. Safety practices and precautions are emphasized throughout the course. The fundamentals of measurement, layout, inspection and setup systems in machine tool technology serve as an introduction to the course. Coverage of both traditional and nontraditional machining processes constitute the major portions of the course.
