ATAM 2170 - Mathematics - Compound Angles (formerly ATM 217) Use of principles of trigonometry to determine plane and face angles in solid figures, classification of solid geometric figures into five basic types, analysis and recognition of types. Demonstration and practice in solving shop problems, determination of angles of tilt and rotation for mounting parts on adjustable angle plates for tool operations. (2 contact hrs) South Campus.
