OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES
Outcome 1: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the social, political, economic, and intellectual histories of the following historical eras:

The Scientific Revolution Socialism and Imperialism
The Old Regime The Industrial Revolution
The Enlightenment World War I
The French Revolution and Napoleon The Age of Dictatorships
The Congress of Vienna World War II
The Romantic Era The Cold War
Nationalism

Objectives: For each of the above eras, students will:

  1. Explain and analyze the political history.
  2. Explain and analyze the social history.
  3. Explain and analyze the spiritual history.
  4. Explain and analyze the intellectual history.
  5. Explain and analyze the military history.
