Coeducational course designed to provide basic rules and practice for personal and home safety.
Contact Hours: 2 Billable Contact Hours: 2 OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES Outcome 1: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to discuss personal safety practices.
Objectives:
- Discuss awareness of surroundings.
- Discuss listening to intuition.
- Discuss identify theft.
- Discuss sexual assault.
- Discuss domestic violence.
Outcome 2: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to discuss home and vehicle safety practices.
Objectives:
- Discuss awareness of surroundings.
- Discuss listening to intuition.
- Discuss home security.
- Discuss car breakdown.
- Discuss road rage.
- Discuss carjacking.
Outcome 3: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to demonstrate personal defense skills.

- Practice stances and use of hands and feet to defend oneself.
