WHES 1210 - Baseball & Softball Credit Hours: 2.00 (2 contact hrs) (formerly PHED-1210) Students will develop baseball/softball skills in on-field sessions and learn the fundamentals and history of the sports. South Campus.

OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES Outcome 1: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to apply the rules of baseball/softball on the field.
Objectives:
- Identify the rules of softball/baseball.
- Describe the rules of baseball/softball.
- Identify baseball/softball vocabulary.
- Discuss strategies used in softball/baseball.
- Identify strategies and field positions on exams.
Outcome 2: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to perform basic baseball/softball skills.
