NURS 2156 - Complications of Childbearing Nursing


Credit Hours: 2.00
(8 contact hrs per week for 4 weeks)
(replaces NURS-2155) This theory course focuses on planning safe, culturally-diverse, patient and family-centered nursing care for the high-risk childbearing family and on women’s health. It emphasizes using evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives to develop critical thinking skills in caring for the women and the childbearing family. Center Campus.

Prerequisites:
 

Prerequisite: Admission into the Nursing program and NURS-2146 with grade C or better.

Corequisite: NURS-2175
