CIVL 1010 - Civil Technology Seminar Credit Hours: 1.00 (1 contact hr) Designed to acquaint the student with the programs of study, nature of work performed by technicians, and opportunities available to them. South Campus.

OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES Outcome 1: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to identify associated technical programs.
Objectives:
- Identify the core and specialty courses.
- Identify the electives.

Outcome 2: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to differentiate the institutions place in education.
Objectives:
- Describe the associate degree.
- Discuss accreditation.
- Assess the transferability of associated technical programs.
Outcome 3: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to use the various institutional facilities and options related to the institution.
Objectives:
- Compare counseling and program advising.
- Examine program learning, job placement, and financial aid.

Outcome 4: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to relate to the land use, transportation system in America, and cooperative education as it pertains to Civil Technology.
