MCR 292F - MCR Open Lab “M” Jobs Students


The student shall demonstrate proficiency in use of handtools and comparative measuring instruments. Student shall understand calibration procedures with primary and secondary standards and be able to properly use attribute and variable gages. Course to also include on-site visitation to major gage manufacturer and in-plant inspection facility utilizing equipment and processes needed to support the quality function. Written reports to be submitted subsequent to these visitations. Upon completion of the course, the students will demonstrate their understanding of Dimensional Metrology as related to the Quality Discipline.
