MMT 150 - Basic Machine Survey

Experiences that teach the student nomenclature, potential, and basic operation of all shop equipment in the MMT laboratory. There will be equal stress on related technical aspects of metal machining such as basic metallurgy, metrology and calibration, metric system, feed and speed calculation, basic practice, geometry, machine tool construction and drive units. (6 contact hrs) South Campus.
