MSTC 2210 - Radiographic Testing (RT)


(Formerly MST 221) Principles, theories and skill development in testing metallic and non-metallic components for integrity or quality without altering metal structure and properties utilizing x-ray generation and propagation with the exposure and development of photographic film. Equipment setup and calibration, flaw detection, dimensional measurements with respect to applicable codes, standards, specifications and safety precautions will be emphasized. Course content is designed to meet A.S.N.T. No. SNT-TC-1A, Level II requirements. (4 contact hrs) South Campus.
